Palm Beach Zoo

One of my favorite ways to spend the day is at the Zoo.

Local to my area is https://www.palmbeachzoo.org/ and they have great annual membership options that will pay for themselves in under two visits.

Some of my favorite childhood memories are of my mom loading up my brothers and I for a full day at the zoo. She would pack us lunch, a swimsuit (there’s a water park), and a change of clothes. We would go from opening to close, and despite being there all day, I often remember still not wanting to leave; begging to know when we would come back.

There is something truly special about being able to witness so many amazing animals up close in a safe, educational environment. Whether it's watching the playful antics of the primates, marveling at the majestic big cats, or admiring the colorful birds, the zoo never fails to amaze me.

Not only is the zoo a great place to learn about animals, but it also serves as a reminder of the importance of conservation efforts. Many species that call the zoo home are endangered or threatened in the wild, and zoos play a vital role in their preservation. By supporting our local zoo, we are contributing to the conservation of these animals and their habitats.

If you asked me what the perfect activity for singletons, couples, friends, and families would be, I would without hesitation say the zoo.
